FeedJumbler improvements

FeedJumbler now caches HTML and JavaScript output for 30 minutes and doesn’t refresh the source feeds each time anymore. This should make it quite a bit faster for everybody that is using those versions.

Also, here is a first release of the underlying “generic feed library” layer.

Hi! I couldn’t find a way to contact you, so I’m trying this.

My new Feedjumbler Atom feed isn’t working:

Hi, I dont know if you will see this either, but contact details are difficult to track down…

Feedjumbler (which is great) seems to not interperate the ‘pubdate’ tag properly on some feeds that use ‘PST’ instead of ‘-0800′ and so on.

This seems to mean that feeds using dates such as ‘Mon, 20 Jun 2005 04:30:00 PST’ show up at the bottom of the feed as being from Jan 1st, 1970.

On a vaguely related note, my account seems to be broken, and ends up with errors when I try to log in.

Keep up the good work!

sorry about the lack of accessibility. I’ve added my email address to the navbar @ right …

Anonymous - what’s the URL of the feed, where this issue occurs?

Hi There,

The feed jumbler site is great… its really fantastic (and thats an under statement!)

I just wanted to ask how you can add to the rss feed the extra bit to add picture that comes up on news stories that I want to feed through feed jumbler. I tried all ssrts to add it on the end of the RSS feed created but had no luck.

Also how to you embed a code to a web page (i know how to put the rss link in (and that works good on a feed reader), but not the code), do you just copy the java script? (i have no idea about these things!)

Also i must add that i spent hours (days, weeks!) trying and looking through so many serives, but your is the best… there no no doubt about that!

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me on this matter.

Every good wish to you
