Southwest Quotes
We spent the weekend in San Diego and to get there, we booked our first ever flights on Southwest. It was a very pleasant experience (maybe due to the fact that we were able to pre-board thanks to 16 month-old Michelle) and I had heard before that some of their flight attendants enjoy the occasional joke on the PA. So here’s a couple of samples:
In the event that our flight becomes a cruise, your seat cushion may serve as a floatation device.
If you are caught smoking, we will assume that you are on fire and will take the appropriate measures.
Please put your seat backs in the most uncomfortable position and stow your items below the seat in front of you so as to provide no legroom at all.
Oh, and the captain was wearing a Stars and Stripes tie, so he was referred to as “Captain America”…
